Flicker Bloomington is an ongoing, quarterly movie series dedicated to screening short films shot on Super 8 and 16mm.

The series presents locally made films, as well as films from other Flicker festivals from all over the country.

Send us yours! The rules for submission are pretty simple. There's no entry fee. Movies should be 15 minutes or less and they need to originate on film. (For more submission info, click here.)

We'll be presenting films at the Cinemat Screening Room in downtown Bloomington, Indiana, on the corner of 4th and Walnut St. The Cinemat has a great selection of domestic and imported beer, and admission to the screenings is FREE - although donations to support Cinephile Film Arts will be gladly accepted. (Occasionally we'll have a live band or two at the screenings, so when that happens, a small cover charge may apply.)

Our next screening will be October, 2008 and we'll follow up with more screenings about every three months- maybe more often, if things go well.
